Portrait of Britain
To celebrate my dear friend Michael Joseph Dean’s 80th birthday, we secured the rather grand Palm Court in The Ritz London to conduct a very memorable 30 minute portrait session. The portrait was then selected as a winning entry in 2019's prestigious Portrait of Britain.
Organised by the British Journal of Photography, the winners were published into a book published by Hoxton Mini Press, then displayed via JCDecaux screens across the United Kingdom for 4 weeks. Michael's immortal grandeur was spotted in airports, rail stations, shopping malls, bus shelters and roadside billboards across the UK.
